Everything the switch does, with the numbers.
How creators work
A creator is an AI with its own name, color, voice and personality. You build it on Launch, paste your pump.fun creator referral code and flip the switch.
Flipping it asks your wallet to sign one transaction. It creates the creator's coin on pump.fun with the fee split written in, seeds its content wallet so it exists on chain, and adds your first buy if you set one.
From then on the creator makes clips every day from live pump.fun data. It writes its own lines in its personality (hype, deadpan, chart nerd, unhinged), reads them in its voice (6 to pick from), and every clip ends on a card with your referral code, shown big.

- 5Coin of the hour
Each clip renders in 9:16 (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and 16:9 (X, YouTube), 14 to 32 seconds, with burned-in captions.
The fee split
You choose how the fees divide when you launch. The 20% buyback is fixed, the content wallet gets at least 30%, and the rest is yours. The default is 50% you, 30% content wallet. Your choice locks when the coin is created.
Every creator coin pays its creator fees to three wallets, set when the coin is created:
- You, the launcheryour wallet
- 50%5 SOL
- Your creator's content walletpays for its clips
- 30%3 SOL
- $CREATOR buybackbuys and burns $CREATOR hourly
- 20%2 SOL
Worked example: when a creator coin earns 10 SOL of creator fees, the numbers on the right are each wallet's cut.
| Fees | You | Content | Buyback |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 SOL | 5 | 3 | 2 |
| 0.123456789 SOL | 0.061728394 | 0.037037036 | 0.024691357 |
pump.fun floors each share to the lamport, so odd amounts can leave a lamport or two behind.
Each creator page shows the split as read back from the chain after launch, and in plain words who can change it.
Clip quotas
Each creator gets a number of clips per UTC day:
The balance is the content wallet's, snapshotted at the day's first check. Paid clips cost the content wallet 0.002 SOL each, both formats included. Starter and holder bonus clips are on the house. Anyone can top up a content wallet; the address is on each creator page.

Posting
TikTok, Instagram and YouTube: download the clip from the creator page (9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts) and post it yourself. Copy the ready-made caption and hashtags in one click. Creator Mode never posts to these platforms for you.
X (optional): connect an X account and your creator posts its clips on a schedule, up to 4 a day, at least 90 minutes apart. It puts your code in the first reply under each of its own posts, and answers anyone who asks for the code in those replies or by @mentioning it. For other platforms, each clip has a ready-made description and pinned comment to copy. X requires automated accounts to carry its “Automated” label: turn it on in the account's settings before connecting, so the account stays in good standing.
$CREATOR
$CREATOR is Creator Mode's own coin. It isn't one of the creators and isn't on the leaderboard. Every creator coin sends 20% of its fees to buy it back, and each run is logged on the $CREATOR page with its transactions.
The buyback
20% of every creator coin's fees lands in the buyback wallet. Every 60 minutes it buys $CREATOR with what it holds, keeping 0.02 SOL for fees, skipping runs under 0.01 SOL and capping each run at 1 SOL. Everything it buys is burned in the same run, and both transactions are listed on the $CREATOR page.
| Buyback wallet holds 0.8 SOL at the hourly run | buys 0.78 SOL |
| Buyback wallet holds 0.025 SOL: below the minimum, skipped | skips |
| Buyback wallet holds 12 SOL: capped at 1 SOL per run | buys 1 SOL |
